Welcome

Dear Vista Staff, Students, Parents, and Community Members,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you all back to school for the 2022-2023 school year! I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to lead a school community with such amazing teachers, students and parents.

This last school year was a challenging time for many of us as we transitioned back to in person instruction. For many scholars, we had to once again learn how to be scholars and practice our study skills. There were definitely many uncertainties at the begin of the school year, however, one thing I was sure of was that by working together as one Lynwood family, we would persevere. Although we are not yet completely over the pandemic, we have made major academic gains by minimizing disruptions to student learning.

At Vista, we continue to find ways to maximize student learning therefore we will continue to keep updated with state and county guidelines and implement safety protocols in order to keep everyone that enters our school safe. During this new year, we will explore, improve and put in place new systems to ensure all students are college and career ready, and furthermore, we will continue to support our scholars to achieve their personal aspirations. I plan on continuing to building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners.

As your Principal, it is important to me that everyone who comes through our doors feel welcome at Vista High. I look forward to meeting you all and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns or ideas you would like to share.

Warm Regards,

GO EAGLES,

Ramon Enriquez
Principal, Vista High School
