Lynwood Unified Honors Staff for Years of Service with Annual Pinning Ceremony

More than 160 Lynwood Unified School District staff were celebrated for their milestone years of service to students, families and school community during the annual Years of Service Pinning Ceremony on October 2 at Firebaugh High School.

The event recognized teachers, counselors, administrators and support staff who have served the District for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and even 35 years, highlighting their unwavering commitment to education and student success. Each honoree received a commemorative pin marking their years of service, along with a certificate and personalized words of appreciation.

“It is with deep gratitude that we celebrate and honor the incredible dedication of our employees who have chosen to make their careers part of Lynwood Unified’s tradition of excellence,” Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Carlos Zaragoza said. “Lynwood Unified thanks each of them for fostering a vibrant and thriving educational community.”

Lynwood Unified is committed to empowering every student to fearlessly achieve their highest academic and personal aspirations, supported by passionate and dedicated educators who nurture young minds, foster a passion for learning and instill values that extend far beyond the classroom.
